CRYPTANTHUS

Cryptantus, also known as the ‘Earth Star’, is an unusual plant from the Bromelia family that exudes its charm through its unique shape and colour.

Cryptanthus is a versatile and colourful plant available in various shapes and shades. Despite belonging to the Bromelia family, this plant does not grow on trees or stones, but rather in the earth - which makes it unique within its species. Its shape, reminiscent of a star, and its bright colours make it a real eye-catcher in any room. This plant is known for its easy care, which makes it ideal for both novice and experienced plant lovers

Care tips: The Cryptanthus is not difficult to care for. Provide a bright spot, but not in full sun, to prevent fading of the leaf colour. Water the plant when the potting soil feels dry, but avoid leaving water in the rosette of the leaves, this can lead to rot. In winter, the Cryptanthus needs less water.

Is the Cryptanthus poisonous? No! This little plant is completely safe for your pets and children - so no worries if they get nice and close to it!
